Quartz var: Rose (recent find) (rare Afghanistan locale)

When it comes to the best crystallized specimens of Rose Quartz, Brazil has been the front-runner in terms of production for many decades. In 2021 there was a new find at the Parun Pegmatite Field in Afghanistan, which produced some beautiful examples of Rose Quartz. This miniature specimen features small, gemmy, beautiful saturated pink color Rose Quartz crystals on all sides, with no matrix. The color is darker than most you'll see from Brazil, and it's good quality to boot. You almost never see Rose Quartz specimens from Afghanistan, and this new and very limited find presents a great opportunity to pick up something unusual and beautiful for your collection.
