A cute and showy thumbnail of Smoky Quartz from the rhyolites of Namaqualand, South Africa. This is a very glassy and transparent Smoky that exhibits a lighter interior that is accented along every edge by darker smoky zones creating a remarkably beautiful effect. For additional aesthetics, there are multiple phantoms inside the crystal! There is a side car crystal and few other tiny Quartz crystals around the base. A super attractive Smoky Quartz piece in this size range. A lot of small smoky's are out there, but this is fine as a specimen, for a thumbnail collector, in a way that most simply small pieces are not.
