Item Description

Quartz specimens of ANY variety are extremely rare from the famous Park City District of Utah. This dramatic, LARGE CABINET, old-timer is a dense cluster of glassy, translucent, quartz crystals with highly unusual and very showy, pretty purple, amethyst phantoms located about one-half way up in each and every crystal! Crystals reach about 9.0 cm on this striking piece and there even a few embedded pyrites on one side. The interior of the specimen is in super shape. Broken crystals are noted on the periphery, but have minimal impact on the overall importance of this historic and fine specimen. Comes with two older labels, including a Wards label. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection. 6.4 pounds or 2.9 kilos.
