Quartz (doubly-terminated!) with Dolomite on Muscovite

This locality is one of the premier specimen producers in China. The plethora of fine quality specimens with excellent associations puts this mine in the top tier in my mind. This piece is an aesthetic display specimen featuring a 5.0 cm long prismatic, colorless, doubly-terminated WATER CLEAR Quartz crystal flaring out of a matrix of silvery-beige colored Muscovite. If you turn the piece around, you will see gorgeous, pearly, light pink colored Dolomite rhombs measuring up to 7 mm. We tried to show both terminations of the Quartz in the photos, but it's difficult to see because since it's hard to convey three dimensions in a flat image.  Very little damage, wonderful form / arrangement and just plain showy. If you look closely, you can see a slight "phantom" inside the top portion Quartz crystal for an added touch. The piece comes with a Keith Williams label along with a great old label from the Rocksmiths.
