Item Description

The Boldut Mine has been the source of some truly impressive and fine quality display specimens of well-known species like Quartz, Calcite and various sulfides. This piece is a very showy small cabinet featuring a 4.6 cm long, sharp, lustrous, gemmy to translucent white hexagonal group of Quartz sitting among GEM quality single prisms of colorless Quartz with minor golden Pyrite and even a small crystal of silvery-grey Tetrahedrite. There is a tiny "rub" on the termination of the main Quartz crystal, and a few of the smaller Quartz crystals are contacted, but the piece is still in fine condition and the aesthetics are super. From a prominent Midwest collection that we purchasd over the summer, accompanied by a label from Ross Lillie (North Star Minerals).
