Item Description

Two, striking and aesthetic, beautifully burnished, curved and curled, ramshorn silver wires are very aesthetically perched atop a matrix wedge of sparkly microcrystalline galena A 1.3 cm euhedral acanthite crystals next to a ramshorn is a super accent. The stout silver wires are 1.2 cm long. This outstanding piece is from a recent find at the Hongda Mine of China. This piece bears strong resemblance to classic Kongsberg wire silvers and would be much more expensive, if from there. Valued at $600-800.
