A stunning, bi-colored, red gem tourmaline from a NEW January, 2011 find at the famous Cruzeiro Mine! The limpid, body is a pleasing cranberry-pink and the complex pinacoidal termination is cranberry-red, like famous Jonas Mine tourmalines. The body and termination also have inclusions of lighter pink tourmaline. One face is very unusually and densely etched. It looks like light pink frost on the crystal! This cutie is highly unusual in the lot we received, with the etched face. Complete all-around and pristine. Red tourmalines have always been very highly desirable and here is your chance to get a real beauty from a brand-new find. 17 grams. This was ONE pocket.
