Zircon is found in a wide range of colors. Most people are probably familiar with the attractive blue gems from Cambodia, along with various, green and yellow gems from other world localities, but it's hard to find good RED Zircons, especially in stones this size. This is a remarkable natural red Zircon gem from Cambodia that weighs nearly 6 carats (!), which is significant because it's hard to find any Zircons in this size, let alone a gem like this with such good clarity. I can't see any inclusions with the naked eye, making this a very worthwhile and eye-catching collector quality stone. I would make a great addition to any gem collection or as the center stone in a piece of jewelry. The stone has an "Oval Brilliant" cut and looks best in sunlight, where the fiery, almost metallic red flashes really come through. This stone was priced at $1,142.00.
