Item Description

An amazing, complex, stout, 360-degree reticulated cerussite from Tsumeb. The striking striated gemmy blades have classic adamatine lustre, which enhances the fantastic variable colors of the blades. Areas are water-clear gem, with others being translucent. The dominating primary blade is 5.0 cm long. The dense blade intergrowth is mesmerizing on the two broad sides. Complete all-around and in great shape, with only minimal bruising. Previously in the Luis Leite Collection, for whom the RARE Tsumeb species Leiteite (Type Locality) is named and the Sanabria Collection. Mass is 260 grams. A significant, classic and articulate heavy lead cerussite. Valued at $1000-1500.
