Item Description

A striking and impressive, large, rhodochrosite crystal cluster from Peru. A 5.5 cm band of gemmy, cherry-red, rhodochrosite stretches across the 3-dimensional, mounded, sulfide matrix. The 2.4 cm, complex crystal is striking in its beauty, and is pristine, except for a cleave on one end. The rest of the rhodochrosite crystal field is cleaved, but this remains a highly representative and visually striking specimen with the one good crystal centered nicely in a field of red color at lesat
