Item Description
Lustrous, sharp and translucent, pretty rose-red, rhodochrosite rhombs are aesthetically and richly set on both sides of the starkly contrasting, sparkly, brassy, pyrite crystal matrix wedge. The glassy quartz crystals on one side are a very nice accent. The striking and very well-placed large rhomb on the crest is 2.7 cm on the diagonal. The piece is in GREAT shape, as all of the many rhombs are pristine! An uncommon occurrence. Outstanding and under appreciated combination material from recent finds at the Wutong Mine. Valued at $800-1000.
