Item Description

A beautiful and striking specimen from the Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. Old material, seldom seen today in this quality (and valued $300). Botryoidal aggregates of sparkly, vivid pink rhodochrosite blades line the sculptural vug on a thin matrix of gemmy and lustrous, rubyjack sphalerite. This is a wonderful pink specimen of rhodochrosite from this noted locale. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
