Item Description
Scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, rhodochrosite prisms to about 4 mm richly line a sculptural, curved vug sulfide matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from the famous Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. The sparkle is enhanced on the rhodos by a rich covering of drusy quartz. The super prominent highlight is the 1.7 cm, lustrous, frosted, colorless, fluorite octahedron. Very fine older combination material from the Consie Prince Collection.
