Item Description
The Sunnyside mine has produced some very well known Rhodochrosite specimens in its history. This piece features some attractive, very sharp, well-formed, rhombohedral crystals of light pink colored Rhodochrosite sitting atop small prismatic Quartz crystals on matrix. The largest Rhodo rhomb measurs 6.5 mm across, and most of the crystals are pristine. A good specimen for any collector of Rhodochrosites or specimens from Colorado from this well known mine in the San Juan Mountains.
