Item Description

The Rhodochrosites from Santa Eulalia don't get enough credit on the market for their size, quality and beautiful color. They are largely forgotten and lost among South African and Sweet Home / Detroit City material. This small cabinet piece is covered with reddish-pink colored, narrow scalenohedra of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 2.2 cm long sitting on host rock matrix. A few of the crystals are actually doubly-terminated, and most of them are undamaged, though a few are contacted. A really eye-catching and excellent quality specimen that most Rhodochrosite collectors do not have a good representation of in their collections. Priced at $1,250 in the inventory.
