Rhodochrosite on Analcime with Aegirine

Item Description

An old-time, excellent and very showy combination specimen from the famous Poudrette Quarry at Mt. St-Hilaire, Quebec. Lustrous, rose-red, rhodochrosite crystals are attractively clustered above a matrix of sharp, pearlescent, analcime crystals. aegirine crystals are embedded on both sides of the piece. The minimal periphery wear to the front of the piece is certainly not a detraction to this fine, older combo specimen from a classic locale.
