Pretty, sharp, pastel-pink, rhodochrosite rhombs to 4 mm are festooned on the sculptural, 3-dimensional, crust of tufted, needle quartz on this classic Colorado specimen from the famous American Tunnel Mine. A dusting of larger, secondary quartz crystals and sulfides are a nice accent. A highly representative older example of the species and noted locale. Ex Mullane Collection.
