Item Description

Sunnyside Mine rhodochrosites are a desirable Colorado classic. This showy and excellent specimen features intergrown clusters and rosettes of sharp, lustrous, translucent, flattened, pastel-pink rhombs to about 8 mm on a bed of sparkly, drusy quartz. The two clusters are in very fine shape. Adjacent bruising and periphery wear are noted, but have minimal impact on the overall display quality of this excellent and rich specimen. Highly representative combination material from this classic mine. The newest Lithographie issue is devoted entirely to minerals of the San Juans. Good timing! valued $750-950
