RARE deep pink, thumbnail Rhodochrosite crystal with matrix from the Pederneira pegmatite in Brazil! Rhodochrosite from granite pegmatites is not common and this is a good example of a moderately well-formed, gemmy to translucent crystal associated with some matrix and other subhedral crystals of Rhodochrosite. Originally from the Bruno Gioia collection of Brazil. This is a stunningly rare item to own, and we have seen but few over decades.
