Rhodochrosite ps. After Calcite (classic locale)

Item Description

Pretty pastel-pink rhodochrosite has pseudomorphed a very sculptural specimen of variably-sized calcite crystal rhomb stalactites from this well-known Greek mine. Some of the pseudos are epimorphs, as the few broken crystals have hollow interiors. I particulary like the graduated size of the pseudos, with the largest crystals at the top. Choice and excellent material.
