Item Description

Bornite is an extremely rare sulfide species from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia and is very seldom on the market. The matrix of this very showy combination species is solid, lightly iridescent, nubby aggregates of bornite crystals. A pristine and uncommon, 1.3 cm, rose-red, rhodochrosite rhomb is jauntily set on the bornite and is surrounded by translucent, light brown, spherical aggregates of siderite blades. rare and very showy combination material from this famed locale and the Dave Stoudt Collection.
