Item Description
A really nifty and aesthetic rhodochrosite miniature from the famous Nchwaning II Mine. Beautifully gemmy lustrous, intensely cherry-red rhodo scalenohedrons are piled up in an exquisite, complete all-around, mounded cluster. AS you would hope, the largest rhodos are at the top of the "mountain"! Most of the rhodos have unusual, flattened terminations and a preferential dusting of manganite is a very nice accent. VERY NEARLY pristine, with only one broken crystal away from the edges. Fairly valued at $800-1000. Nature designed a really cute rhodochrosite specimen with this one.
