Rhodochrosite - unusual crystals

Rhodochrosite from the Kalahari comes in a wide variety of forms and colors, but this looks like candy! It is a cherry red color, like a Jolly Rancher, and glows when backlit! It is a fine miniature, showing unusual flat-terminated crystals, arranged next to each other like shields in a wall from ancient battle scenes. While not pristine, it is nearly so and also has never been to the lab for cleaning. An old specimen of highly unusual rhodochrosite that seems to have come out, according to the Pohl numbering, before we generally saw a lot of rhodochrosite material from the Kalahari starting in the late 1970s - this predates that considerably.
