Item Description

Tiny, lustrous, two-toned rust-brown rhodochrosite disks are densely intergrown and cover the sculptural, mounded miniature matrix. The sugary albite matrix hosts glassy leifite needles, some of which are visible among the rhodos. This is a very uncommon style of rhodo from the famed Poudrette Quarry and this is an excellent classic combination specimen. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X90-3.
