Item Description

Rose-pink, lustrous, translucent, tabular rhodochrosite crystals with frosted faces are richly and aesthetically clustered in rosettes on the mounded quartz rich matrix. The rhombs reach 2.5 cm on this exquisite specimen, which is nicely accented with contrasting bright brassy pyritohedrons. The striking primary large rhodo cluster appears to be pristine. A very choice combination specimen with multiple display views from the W.S. Logan Collection # 108-8. Valued at $1000-1250.
