Beautiful, rich pastel-pink, lustrous, curved rhodochrosite rhombs are very aesthetically clustered atop quartz and matrix on this showy and excellent combination specimen from the W.S. Logan Rhodochrosite Collection. The impresssive rhombs reach 2.2 cm on the diagonal. This sculptural and rich specimen is from the early 1990s finds at the Santa Rita Mine. The rhodochrosite and quartz association is diagnostic of this find and locality. Rhodos of this quality are uncommon and are seldom on the market.
