Item Description

Gorgeous rich cherry-red, gemmy/translucent, lustrous rhodochrosite scalenohedrons are dramatically clustered jackstraw-style in a vug on the hefty sculptural spearpoint-shaped layered mixed sulfide matrix from the famous Uchucchacua Mine. The crystals reach 1.5 cm on this classic large piece. The few bruised crystals have minimal impact to the high quality and richness of this richly colored, classic style specimen from the W.S. Logan Collection # 13. Valued at $1000-1500.
