The Rhodolites from Tanzania are amazingly attractive gems, and are fast becoming very popular among gem collectors, as this material is not very common. This gem has a rich red color, and is only very slightly included. The cut on this stone is a "Heart Brilliant" cut. The fact that this stone is over 3 carats makes all the difference, because they are rarely this large on the open market. It is a very good larger size stone from what is proving to be one of the premier localities in the world for the material.
