Rhodolite Garnets are some of the most vivid and beautiful gems in the Garnet family. These stones are beloved for their great color and large size stones. The Rhodolites from Tanzania have some of the richest colors I've seen for Rhodolite from any world locality. This gem is attractive with a good reddish-orange color and is nearly eye clean in clarity. The cut on this stone is a "Pear Brilliant" cut. An attractive stone from what is proving to be one of the premier localities in the world for the material.
