Item Description
This is an OUTSTANDING specimen of gemmy, mostly euhedral, shimmering deep cherry-red rhodonite from the NEW FIND in Brazil. This SUPER, single crystal piece has two nearly complete and undamaged faces, the front and top!! The photos highlight these faces and the backlit phots show the intense color saturation and gemminess of this fine specimen. There is contacting on the other faces, but this remains a SUPERB example for the species and it is not from Broken Hill. This piece is particularly rich, showy and has EXCELLENT form. Valued at $750-1000.
