Rich Nagyagite (Type Locality - old)

Item Description

An exceptional nagyagite miniature from its Type Locality in the mid-1800s. Lustrous, silver-metallic bladed nagyagite crystals to a large 1.8 cm are aesthetically clustered on two sides of this very fine miniature. The host matrix is contrasting rhodochrosite and quartz. This is a classic association, but unusual in such visually attractive specimens overall. This is an important locality specimen, very nice to look at, and for the price I think a good bargain to own one of these in any appreciable sized specimen. Valued at $1250 for richness and exceptional crystal size.
