Item Description

Romeite variety atopite is unique to the world-famous Langban deposit of Sweden. Romeite is a member of the stibiconite group and is quite rare in itself, but contains sodium in substitution for calcium and contains fluorine, unlike romeite. This rich specimen contains discrete, gemmy, orange-brown, atopite crystals to 3 mm and pastel-yellow and reddish-brown grains of atopite. Very, very uncommon material. Ex Dr. Mark Feinglos Collection, a noted rarities specialist
