Item Description

Rosasite is a less common, but highly desirable zinc, copper carbonate from the famous Mina Ojuela. The gorgeous, teal-blue rosasite looks like it was poured as molten plastic on the sculptural, sturdy, bedded, gossan matrix on this striking and excellent specimen. The rosasite voids around the matrix points sticking out are dramatic! A very colorful and artful example of the species from a NEW FIND at this noted locale (found December, 2009).
