Rosasite pseudomorph after Malachite after Azurite (excellent quality) (ex Bob Reynolds Collection)

Here we have a fine quality, classic old time specimen from the Silver Bill Mine in Southern Arizona, featuring attractive robins egg blue Rosasite which has formed excellent pseudomorphs after blocky Azurite crystals measuring up to about 6 mm on oxidized matrix. The piece is actually a DOUBLE pseudomorph, as you can see there is a tiny layer of underlain forest green Malachite below the Rosasite, so this is technically Rosasite after Malachite after Azurite. The sharpness of the pseudomorphs is excellent, as most of these specimens you'll see will have more of a "rounded" appearance. A very sculptural and fine quality example of these now hard to find Rosasites.
