Rosasite with Kolwezite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

An unusual specimen that was only labeled as coming from "Mexico" featuring radial groups of sky blue Rosasite which are coated by sugary / drusy Quartz and associated with Kolwezite. Now I'm not 100% certain that this piece is actually from Mexico, as Kolwezite is not reported from any Mexican locality, and the most likely locality for Rosasite in Mexico is the Ojuela Mine, and this piece truly doesn't resemble and Rosasite I've seen from Ojuela. With that said, if anybody out there has some insight as to where this piece truly might be from, please drop us a line and let us know. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10042).
