Item Description
Rose Quartz is the pink variety of Quartz. Some research has indicated that the color in Rose Quartz is caused by micro inclusion of minerals such as Dumortierite. The material is beloved for its unique pink color which ranges from a soft pink to a rather rich vivid pink from some localities. Rose Quartz stones are often used in cabochons as the material is rarely clean enough for faceted gems, because the majority of it is "milky" or "cloudy". This particular stone is a very good sized a gem and has good clarity for a Rose Quartz. It has good clarity with a slightly "milky" interior, and that classic light pink color. The stone has a "Step Marquise" cut. A great big colorful gem for any collector. Priced at $464.40 retail
