Item Description

The Rubies from Jagdalak are among some of the most well known and superbly crystallized Ruby specimens around. This specimen features a lustrous, purplish-pink color crystal group on a contrasting white marble matrix. The crystal group measures 2.1 x 1.8 cm across, which is good sized for the locality, and it is not at all opaque as the majority of these specimens tend to be, as it does pass light when backlit. The sharpness of the crystals is notable as well. One small nick keeps it from being 100% perfect, but still really nice compared to most I've seen at shows. These specimens have truly risen in price on the market in recent years, and it seems that they are not being found as frequently as they once were, so do not miss out. Valued at $1400 in the inventory.
