Ruby in Marble (illustrated)

A bright pigeon-blood-red ruby crystal, 2 cm long, excavated almost fully from matrix makes this a dramatic natural ruby specimen for the price! The crystal is doubly-terminated. It has wonderful luster and intense color. This piece was photographed for inclusion in a book entitled "Stones of the Bible" which we provided photos for a few years ago...though which seems to be out of print now (though I have a copy here somewhere). Valued at $750.
