Rubies are found in many world localities, and they can vary from rich red to saturated red/pink hues. This stone is a rarely seen Ruby from Mozambique, which is completely natural, meaning it's untreated, no glass-filling or heating or anything else. To find an untreated stone with this color is wonderful, especially because it's so saturated. The stone has an "Oval" cut with a strong reddish-pink hue. It does have some obvious inclusions, but the fact that it's 100% natural makes it valuable for what it is. It would make a fantastic center stone for either a ring or a pendant.
