Item Description
A rare, old-time, classic, combination, Tri-State specimen from the Baxter Springs area, Kansas. Quartz is relatively RARE from the entire Tri-State District. A sparkly field of glassy quartz crystals is richly and aesthetically sprinkled with variably sized, gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite crystals to 1.6 cm. Brassy chalcopyrite microcrystals dot the sphalerite crystals. This is a very showy, excellent and rare combo piece from this historic district. Ex George Feist Collection # 2808.
