Splendent golden rutile needles are richly included in this dramatic opposing pair of doubly terminated smoky quartz crystals from Brazil. The equant sharply terminated hexagonal smoky is water clear with the very interestingly flattened smoky having a water-clear upper face and partially frosted, translucent bottom face. Complete all-around and in good shape. Both crystals have some contacting on the less important terminations, which are certainly only a modest detraction to this outstanding and most sculptural rutilated smoky quartz specimen.
