Rutile and Hematite included in Quartz

Some of the most iconic Rutile / Hematite specimens in the world are those from Novo Horizonte. This piece is a great example of the 2008 find featuring golden Rutile "needles" which are beautifully suspended inside of the sharp, lustrous, gemmy, slightly smoky colored Quartz crystals. Minor natural silvery-black Hematite crystals can be seen embedded in the lower portion of the Quartz for a nice touch. The Quartz is contacted on the back / side where it was removed from the pocket, but the terminations of both crystals are complete, and it is so gemmy transparent in the center, creating a perfect window to view the lovely Rutile crystals.
