Rutile epitaxial on Hematite with rutilated Quartz

Golden "rays" of amazingly lustrous rutile needles epitaxial on moderately lustrous, black hematite crystals make for a striking and aesthetic specimen from a recent find at Novo Horizonte, Brazil. This piece is remarkably enhanced by two, water-clear rutilated quartz crystals. This is an uncommon one, with both the starbursts and the rutilated quartz in combination. This is certainly one of the classier uncommon combination specimens, that I have seen from this locale. Valued at $300-400.
