Rutile (ex Clyde Hardin Collection)

Item Description

A classic specimen of Rutile from the famous locality at Graves Mountain. The crystal is fairly sharp and lustrous with a metallic, silvery color (with a red appearance on the faces). This is a decent example of this well known (and increasingly hard to find) material. Some damage keeps it from being pefect, but still not bad compared to others from the locality in this size, especially from the standpoint of luster and sharpness.
