Item Description

Sanromanite is an ultra-rare Na-Ca-Pb carbonate UNIQUE in the world to an adit in this old silver mining district abandoned since the end of the 1800s (MINDAT). The species was approved in 2006! Tiny, sparkly clear and greenish-yellow needles of sanromanite are scattered on the emerald-green malachite microcrystals with calcite on the field on the upper left. The bright blue crusts on the lower right are chalconatronite, another rare secondary hydrated copper carbonate. DOUBLE your pleasure with two rare carbonates from the Matioli Collection.
