Item Description

Here we have a beautiful golden / bi-colored Sapphire from one of the better known localities for the material in North America. Sapphires are found in many world localities, and while most people are familiar with blue stones, they are found in virtually all colors of the rainbow. This stone is completely natural (unheated) in color. It is only very slightly included with a "Round Step" cut. A decent sized gem from this classic U.S. Sapphire locality. Although they have been mined for over a century, Montana Sapphires have become increasingly popular in the last few years. Keep in mind that when it comes to U.S. gems, they're always high in demand, and it doesn't matter if it's Benitoite from California, Rhodochrosite from the Sweet Home Mine, Hiddenite from North Carolina, Red Beryl from Utah, etc., people are buying material from the United States at a higher rate than any point in history.
