Sapphire (odd color)

Sapphires is one of those gems that comes in virtually every color of the rainbow, and they have been beloved for thousands of years by collectors. This makes them some of the most highly sought after gems on the planet, which is only amplified due to their beauty and superior durability. In the last 30 years or so, we've seen a good number of beautiful gem quality Sapphires coming out of Tanzania. This particular stone is an uncommon color for Sapphire showing a dark golden color. The stone has a traditional "step oval" cut and VVS clarity. For my taste, this is an enticing shade for a Sapphire, as it still looks saturated, but it's bright enough that it really shines.
