Scapolite

Scapolite is one of those stones that you rarely find in large cut gems. It is very very difficult to find clean gems that weigh over 5 carats. This stone is a very very slightly included, "Concave Emerald" cut gem with a beautiful light yellow color. This Tanzanian material is fairly new to the market, and there isn't a lot of it out there. This is a nice collector's stone and looks just as nice in person as it does in the photographs. The cutting is very good, and the color is decent for the size.
