Scapolite (colorless)

Item Description

About 10 years ago, there was a small discovery of these interesting Scapolite gems from Afghanistan. This particular stone is a beautiful, essentially colorless stone with an "Oval Brilliant" cut. Any rare stone collector would certainly appreciate the scarcity of a stone like this. The gem has very slight inclusions, but how often does one see colorless Scapolite on the market?
