Schalenblende (mix of sulfides)

Item Description

Schalenblende is a mixture of wurtzite, galena, marcasite, and sphalerite that is carved and polished. This small slab of polished schalenblende is characteristic of the material that once came out of Poland and is regarded as a classic lapidary material.
